Norwegian ultrasound researchers among the very best

This is confirmed by the international journal Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology.

Researchers at SINTEF, NTNU and St. Olavs Hospital at the National Competence Service for ultrasound and image processing have long been working on the use of 3D ultrasound in various clinical procedures. It has resulted in a number of articles on methods for 3D ultrasound imaging. A review article published in the October issue of the accredited scientific journal Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology confirms that the environment in Trondheim is among the foremost in this field.
